Rockstar CMO FM (the M is for Marketing the F is for.. well it’s up to you, as this yet another podcast about f’in marketing).

In this episode, I catch up with Kate Bradley Chernis, Co-Founder & CEO of Lately, an A.I. powered social media marketing platform. Kate’s hugely popular Backstage Q&A has been regularly in our TOP TEN most popular articles as her story clearly caught the attention of you guys, our readers.
In this conversation, we learn about Kate’s path to marketing, from reaching 20 million listeners as Music Director and DJ at Sirius/X.M. to building products and her own agency (working with Walmart no less).
Having spoken to Kate, I would class her as a serial entrepreneur, and aside from starting as a DJ, her journey is far from typical, it started with sexual harassment, some fatherly advice, and 9 pages of a book that was a gift from her husband (The Furnace) – intrigued? You ought to listen.
I also got the opportunity to dig into what we, as marketers, can learn from being a radio D.J. The influence of Bryan Karmer and the idea of marketing H2H (Human to Human) and, of course, discuss what she would like to throw into the Rockstar CMO Swimming Pool, our portal to hell for all the bullshit and snake oil of the marketing business.
I think you’ll agree, it’s a fun, inspiring, and insightful conversation, and I hope you enjoy this episode.
Check it out! (Just kidding Kate :-))
