This week the article I suggests we take a look at is by Keith Smith, The Advertist, and host of The Fuel Podcast. The article is called “There ain’t half some clever bastards” inspired by Ian Dury (the actual punk), and Keith writes about marketing qualifications, takes a cheeky swipe at Mark Ritson, and makes a fantastic music based analogy about creativity.
This week’s interview is with Phil Lewis, the MD, founder & Principal atCorporate Punk, described as a management consultancy that isn’t and a regular contributor to Forbes, sharing his opinions and experience on leadership. Specifically, how to lead businesses that can thrive in a world of endless change. Really enjoyed our chat about the role of the CMO and why CMO’s are often overlooked for the top job.
I then start my weekend in the virtual Rockstar CMO bar with my content marketing guru Robert Rose for a cocktail and one marketing thought to finish the week.
